Tamara Gibson-Marks - Artistic Director
An Attorney at Law by profession and Registrar of the St. Vincent High Court, Tamara’s love of Carnival sees her making regular trips between St. Vincent and St. Lucia. Tammy, as she is popularly known is the daughter of legendary Carnival Icon Antonius “Secra” Gibson and has been involved in carnival from her earlier years, working her way up to section leader in her father’s band. Her expertise in costume selection and distribution ensures that the band is always a spectacle to behold on the road. Tammy is also the band founder.
Thaddeus Antoine –Assistant Band Leader & Road Marshall
Thaddeus is a prominent Corporate & Entertainment Lawyer and Partner in the Firm of Francis & Antoine, Bespoke Cooperate Services. He has functioned in the entertainment industry in a number of capacities including a judge for the Calypso and Soca monarch competitions, St. Lucia and Antigua Carnival Queen Pageant and serves as legal counsel for a number of leading soca artistes. His responsibilities include the handling of all legal affairs & negotiations for the band.
Irvin Springer – Band Leader & Financial Director
Irvin is a loans supervisor with the Bank of Saint Lucia Limited, St. Lucia‘s most prominent banking institution. An avid enthusiast of the soca genre, he has been a volunteer liaison officer for the Cultural Development Foundation for a number of artistes including Destra & Atlantik, Roy Cape All-stars, Onyan & the Baygon Band, Da Bhann, Claudette Peters, Mervin ”Sleepy” Edwards and Hunter. As part of the management team of the band, his responsibilities include the management of all financial and security issues.
John Soochan – Events Director & Marketing
John Soo Chan is the Assistant Managing Director of Carlan’s Restaurant Ltd. Before that, I was with Renwick and Company Ltd as a Key Accounts Sales Rep for Liquor and Beverage, also contributing to events & promotions. My previous work I was a Bar Supervisor at Cotton Bay Village. Prior to Cotton Bay, he was employed with Premier Wines & Spirits involved in the company’s social promotions and granting sponsorship to organizations. His responsibilities include the management of all bar operations, logistics and assisting with the organization of the band’s events.
MacNaughton Mc.Lean – Assistant Events and Marketing
MacNaughton Mc.Lean is a well known radio personality, having been the morning voice of Radio Caribbean International for over twenty years. While Mac’s (as he is popularly know) has moved into a management position as the Programme Director of RCI, he continues to fill the airways with his ever popular ‘Morning Rumble’ sports programme. Mac also has wide-ranging experience in the planning and staging of events including ‘Forever Gold’ and the phenomenally successful ‘RCI Piton Party in De Yard’
